Ardara matchmaking festival 2015

The house is simply stunning, with a very high level of design and finish.

The garden was also very pleasant and secure for our kids and the dog. My eldest loved exploring the bushes and and hedges for insects and feeding the donkey over the fence. If you're looking for a base to explore this area, but want to be close enough to walk to local amenities then you simply could not do any better than here! Everything about this beautiful house was perfect. The house was spotless and every room had amazing design features. Shane made us feel so welcome by providing much appreciated extras.

There was wine, olives, milk and treats for the kids on our arrival and lots of brochures of things to do in Donegal. The house is a five minute walk into Ardara which is a lovely, lively town. We had an amazing stay in Shane's house and really hope to return. Beautiful house a two-minute walk from the pubs and shops in Ardara. Well equipped and with a lovely private garden.

Shane was a great and thoughtful host, thanks for the excellent communication throughout. Shane's house in Ardara is absolutely beautiful. It is very clean with tons of light and beautiful views out of each window. We were a group of four adults and two children and had more space than we needed, eight people could very comfortably stay here.

The beds were comfortable with luxurious down comforters and nice pillows. The house had everything we needed for cooking and baking and we were thrilled to find lots of books and toys for the kids. This is a very family friendly home and a great part of Ireland for kids. We spent our days at the folk village in Glencolumbkille, the Slieve League and walking and playing at the many beaches nearby. Shane was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with.

We certainly hope we'll have a chance to return! From the moment we walked through the door, we felt as though we were home. The place was beautiful and it was very easy to tell that the host makes a great effort to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be. Amazingly wonderful design and architecture too. It'd been a long drive to get to Ardara and it was around 1am when we arrived. Shane had left a lovely note to welcome us as well as breakfast, milk and even beer and snacks.

The house is equipped with everything you'd need in terms of entertainment, cooking etc. It would have been very easy not to leave the house at all. However, we'd thoroughly recommend a journey to The Corner House on at least one occasion. We loved every second of our stay and very much look forward to returning sometime soon. I don't know where to begin to describe this incredible home.

It more than met our expectation. Designed to open up to the outdoors, the home was always washed with light even on the dreariest of Ireland days. Shane was accessible and made the process easy. Very walkable to town and wonderfully located for exploring Donegal County.
